Equine Trails is located in the village of Borris in south Co. Carlow on the banks of the river Barrow, near the Blackstairs mountains, close to the border of Wexford and Kilkenny.
We have created the perfect trekking experience for all levels of ability. Come and enjoy the spectacular scenery with over 650 acres of parkland and woodland fringed by the River Barrow. All rides are accompanied by a fully qualified instructor and we have trails suitable for non-riders through to advanced riders.
Riding lessons are also available for all levels of experience and ability, in an arena or in a safe but natural environment. We are approved by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments and your safety at all times is of utmost importance.
We will match you with one of our own carefully selected horses but if you have your own horse, you are more than welcome to come and develop your true potential together. Stabling is available, so why not stay in local self-catering or hotel accommodation and enjoy a complete break while spending some quality time with your horse.
